The mechanisms are in place to enable adhoc payments for content.I enjoy a lot of content that is compelling and unique but there are plenty of content producers who build a regular readership and don't ask for payment. But as it is currently a long way from that, it won't be easy.The content you want people to pay for MUST be compelling and it should be unique.
